Need to borrow a book?

There are so many books out there about eating disorders, and we know what it is like trying to find the right one that will suit you.

ABC has a lending library of over 100 books, old and new, all on topics related to eating disorders. We have many of the most popular books - all available for members to borrow.

Books are lent for a period of 4 weeks and all we ask is a small joining fee, and that you contribute towards the postage costs of sending books out to you.

We hope that you have found lots of useful information on this website. However, we have lots more in the form of books, leaflets, cds etc available to purchase. We keep our prices as low as possible and can often pass on deals from publishers etc which you would not be able to get elsewhere so do take a look.

How to join ABC

If you would like to receive regular information and support from ABC, as well as having access to some member-only benefits such as our lending library and reduced rates for conferences and residential courses, why not become a member?

All members receive Lifeline, our quarterly magazine packed with great articles for sufferers, carers and leaders. Membership lasts for one year and is free, although we will ask those who are able to make a donation to cover some of our costs.

Becoming a member is also a way YOU can support US - because you can contribute towards our running costs and help us to help the many hundreds of people who contact us every year.

If you would like to become a member, please contact us, giving your name and mailing address. We will then send you more information about membership in a plain, unmarked envelope.
