ABC is a charity working with a Christian ethos.  Whilst we work to support anyone, regardless of their faith, or any other details about them, we do require that our staff and volunteers are able to endorse our statement of faith.  This is becuase a central part of our work is to support other Christians, along with church leaders.

We believe:

·        The Bible to be the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

·        There is one God, eternally existent in Three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

·        In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death on our behalf and His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His personal return in power and glory.

·        That man was created in God’s image but, as a result of the fall, is born dead in sin, in need of God’s mercy through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus and, that repentance towards God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ are necessary for salvation.

·        In the ministry of the Holy Spirit in regenerating, sanctifying, filling and equipping the believer with demonstrations of His power freely given for service.

·        In the spiritual unity of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and the visible manifestations of this in the local body, the church.

·        In the expectation of the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory
