Our Vision

Our vision is taken from John 8 v32 - a verse that most people know well. However, the message version translates it in a slightly different way:

"Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth shall free you."

ABC's vision is exactly that - that people will not just read and learn the truths of how God sees them but also experience them for themselves.

Our vision is to see all those affected by eating disorders being supported with kindness, no judgement, a listening ear, encouragement, practical advice and on-going support regardless of their faith (if any), along the journey to full recovery.

It is our vision to resource and help them to support and care for individuals and families battling against eating disorders regardless of faith with understanding and compassion. 

ABC's vision is to work with all agengcies and professionals providing treatment for those suffering from eating disorders and to contribute towards improvements in care, provision and facilities.
